Diet-based interventions should be considered as an alternative or secondary treatment for children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, according to a review in the journal Pediatrics. Researchers found little evidence to support some of the strict additive-free diets and said that simply following a healthy diet is the "most promising and practical" treatment.
